Direct-Activated Pressure Relief Valve

A pressure relief valve is a safety device for pipes and is normally closed. When the pressure increases to the setting value, the pressure relief valve rapidly releases the excess pressure. Once the pressure returns to a safety value, the valve automatically closes to ensure the safety of the equipment.

Our direct-activated pressure relief valve is a critical safety device designed to protect piping systems and equipment from dangerous over-pressure. This pressure relief valve remains normally closed during regular operation. When system pressure rises to the set value, the valve opens instantly to release excess pressure. Once the pressure returns to a safe level, the valve automatically closes.

What is a pressure relief valve?

A pressure relief valve is a safety device that prevents excessive pressure in a pipeline or vessel. It stays closed under normal conditions and opens automatically when system pressure exceeds a set limit, then reseals once pressure returns to a safe range.

Direct activation means the valve responds immediately to pressure changes without external controls. When the set pressure is reached, the valve opens to release excess pressure and closes again once conditions stabilise.

Our pressure relief valve is manufactured entirely from stainless steel 316, offering superior corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding environments.

It is suitable for water, steam, alkaline fluids, and oil applications, making it ideal for industrial, commercial, and process systems.
