Capture and retention at source of fine and ultra-fine particles when cutting pipes, bars and tubes with a sabre saw.
- Performances
- When used in accordance with our recommendations (see instructions), EGP Découpes can be used to achieve dust levels below the occupational exposure limit of 10 fibres per litre of air.
- Printed LDPE sleeves with 3 longitudinal zones.
- The central zone contains the EGP gel.
- A dotted line marks the cut line along the entire length.
- The 2 lateral zones each contain a cable tie for fixing around a pipe or bar.
- Specially developed gel, suitable for contact with drinking water.

| The gel in the EGPDEC-IS range has been specially adapted to capture the dust produced when cutting thick insulationa round pipes. | ||||

Key actions
- If there is a risk of dust being released due to vibrations, spray the surface of the pipe with impregnation gel (EGP IMP)
- Pre-drill the pipe using an EGP250 or EGP500 to allow the reciprocating saw blade to be inserted
- Ensure that the reciprocating saw blade remains within the gel at all times
- Do not press the reciprocating saw’s shoe against the EGP gel sheath
- If the pipe wall is thick, spray impregnation gel onto the blade throughout the cutting process
EGP Sawing

Adjustable to the diameter
| EGP022SCI : 200 mm | Adhesive underside Sawing plaster, concrete, chrome, ceramics… Reduces dust and minimises sparks |
| EGP035SCI : 300 mm | |
| EGP1SCI : 1000 mm | |
| EGP2SCI : 2000 mm |

Key actions
- Ensure that the core bit remains submerged
in the gel at all times - For power tools such as angle grinders or circular saws, reduce the speed to a maximum of 4,000 rpm
- Do not crush the EGP gel sleeve with the tool
