AFC Sewer Air Release Valve
Derwent Industries combination double orifice air release valves are made in accordance with AS 4883. The valves are also available in Anti Shock.
- Features:
- Ductile Iron body and bonnet to AS 1831:500-7
- Float & Internal components: 316 Stainless Steel
- Fasteners: 316 SS
- Double Orifice prevents air pocket from occuring, improving flow efficiency of the pipeline.
- Bolts where applicable are hot melt encapsulated for superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
- Fusion Bonded Epoxy coated to AS/NZS 4158 provides the valve excellent corrosion protection.
- External screen provides additional protection from insects and other wild life.
- During vaccuum the float will drop allowing air flow into the pipeline.
- Air Valves are available in Anti Shock.
- The anti shock device is installed to reduce the level of air being exhausted from the valve during filling, thereby reducing the impact of water hammer on the valve.
Applications:
The Derwent Industries Double Orifice Air Release valves are for sewer water application, water transmission and irrigation applications, improving flow efficiency. The addition of Anti Shock, reduces impacts of water hammer.
